Who We Are

We are a Community Interest Company focused on championing youth and children’s work in an ever-evolving digital age through mentoring, arts education, music, food, gaming, mental health advocacy, and grassroots youth work in innovative and relevant ways.

Our CIC Aims & Objectives are to:

  • Provide mentoring support to young people through online gaming/virtual spaces, for young people who may lack confidence in a face-to-face setting or may struggle in a more formal setting.

  • Introduce young people to creative pursuits and get them engaged in art through relevant means – be it online gaming (popular games such as Fortnite, Roblox, Minecraft, Rec Room, VR etc.), conducting virtual workshops in these environments, and offering nationally accredited qualifications under the Arts Award.

  • Provide schools with free art education workshops and art qualifications for young people in areas that may not be part of the school’s budget or curriculum – game design, music production, digital design and illustration, animation, film and more, giving young people in under-funded areas access to education in the arts

  • Provide mentoring for young people through the arts (digital, online, or face to face), incorporating elements of art therapy and play therapy practice.

  • Provide cooking and food hygiene workshops and sessions to young people within youth centres and schools to promote healthy eating, cultural education and future life skills.

  • Engage in professional grassroots youthwork practice in an online context. Conducting
in-the-field research on how youthwork works in an online environment e.g. online Detached youthwork, mentoring, youth advocacy, online “youth centres” etc.

  • Provide resources and training to other practitioners and organisations to offer best practice guidance and open dialogue for further research and practice in this field, whether this be in printed, online or video form, or carried out as workshops and training seminars for practitioners. This will also act as fundraising for the CIC’s community activities.

  • Offer young people a sense of community, participation and healthy competition through E-Sports by running regular competitive events and competitions, which will also act as fundraisers for the CIC’s community activities.

  • Create community and participation with young people through casual online gaming, offering safe online spaces where young people can feel a sense of belonging and support through professional youthwork.

  • Promote and encourage artistic creativity in children and young people.
